  • Product Expiration and Storage

Glacée can be stored both in the pantry or in the refrigerator.

Pantry. The shelf life of Glacée is about 6-9 months stored in a typical home if it has not been opened since bottling. If opened, this gets cut down to about 3-6 months. Once there is visible separation, do not consume it- it has spoiled.

Refrigeration. Refrigerating it will definitely increase the shelf life, but it causes another problem. Lumps. If you are going to refrigerate Glacée you should limit constant temperature changes. Constant temperature changes will cause the liquor to solidify and eventually form a block of what looks like cheese at the top of the bottle. To limit this from happening, you should return the liquor to the fridge immediately after serving. if Glacée becmes solid afer refrigeration, please allow it to thaw at room temperature for a few hours and it will return to its regular consistency.
